Every Scroll & Stroll experience is rooted in the real Boston—its people, places, and flavors. Picking up these local products is more than a delicious decision—it’s a way to support Boston artisans and makers who pour their hearts into what they do. This post is for people like my Lithuanian mother, who love seeing what local markets offer which are unavailable normally.
Here are three locally-loved finds to keep you nourished and buzzing as you walk around Boston’s beautiful streets.
🥯 Stone & Skillet English Muffins (Roasted Herb & Garlic)
Made in Boston
Forget everything you know about supermarket English muffins. Stone & Skillet’s handcrafted muffins are thick, fluffy, and full of flavor. That pillowy softness still packs a savory punch! The Roasted Herb & Garlic variety is Arturas’s favorite (sorry there aren’t more muffins in the picture) —perfect toasted for an egg and cheese sandwich, or just eaten with butter.
Bonus: they’re made right here in Boston, so you’re literally biting into the city.
Where to Find: Most local grocers like Whole Foods, Roche Brothers, Star Market, Stop & Shop, and Market Basket carry these with their other bakery items. Trader Joes does not carry them.
🥜 Teddie Peanut Butter (Smooth, All Natural)
Since 1925 | Everett, MA
Teddie is New England’s peanut butter MVP. Produced across the Mystic River in Everett, this all-natural spread contains just peanuts and a pinch of salt—no sugar, no nonsense. Picking some up in Boston means you get fresh rich, roasted flavor and silky texture for your toast, smoothies, or straight-up spoonfuls (we don’t judge). Not much more expensive than the national brands, its a real treat!

☕ George Howell Coffee
Roasted in Acton, MA
Looking for the ultimate espresso to kickstart your day? George Howell’s beans are a Boston-area staple among coffee aficionados. With rich chocolatey notes and balanced acidity, it’s perfect for espresso shots or your favorite milk-based drinks.
Where to Find: Whole Foods and Star Market carries these. You can also find the freshest selection at George Howell cafés (the Godfrey Hotel downtown is a vibe!) or order beans online.
Support Local. Taste Boston.
